A Saudi Arabian airstrike destroys a Scud missile base in Yemen. The massive explosion that follows killed 25, and injured another 400.
An airstrike conducted on April 20, 2015 destroys a scud missile base in the Houthi-controlled Yemeni capital of Sanaa. According to Reuters, 25 people were killed in the explosion, and another 400 were wounded by the blast. Most of the injured and killed were also reported as women and children.
The blast occurred at the base of the Faj Attan mountain, near the Hadda district of Sanaa. A number of the buildings in the district sustained moderate to severe damage.
