M1 Assault Breacher Vehicle in Afghanistan

USMC combat engineers use M1 Assault Breacher Vehicles to clear out IEDs and deny enemy forces useable terrain in Kajaki, Helmand province, Afghanistan in 2011.

The M1 ABV is built on the M1 Abrams chassis, and fires an M58 Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC).
