Meet The Australian Juggernaut That Leads The Australian Anti-Tree Battalion

first published on March 21, 2017 by

In Australia, they have an anti-tree battalion in the Army. Their entire purpose is to decimate trees and ensure that the land stays barren.

There is a battalion of men in Australia dedicated to making sure that part of the continent remains a barren wasteland. If they fail in their mission, over 150 species of deadly animals will lose their habitat forever. So every week, they go out into the field, and ensure that parts of the country remain wastelands.

Leading this battalion of hard charging individuals is a man called Juggernaut. He is the king of taking down trees. No one can destroy more wood in a single bound than this man right here. At the age of 16 he realized that he had a true gift for destruction, and joined the Anti-Tree Battalion. Now 47, Juggernaut is in charge of the entire battalion, and he believes in leading from the front.

The video you are about to watch is rare colorized footage of the Juggernaut in action circa 1952. (Sorry for the potato quality) Notice that while he is about to plow through a ton of trees, he is also simultaneously teaching one of his men the proper technique for tree destruction. Because of this man’s continued dedication, and attention to detail, hundreds of venomous snakes, spiders, and deadly marsupials all have a place to call home.
