Footage of a July 14, 2018, Israeli Airstrike was posted on the IDF twitter account showing the destruction of a multistory building in Gaza that was being used to facilitate Hamas terror operations.
According to the release, the building was located in the Al-Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza, and had tunnels dug beneath it that were being used as a terror training facility.
The IDF gave advanced notice to local residents to stay away because of the imminent strike. However, two Palestinian teens were reportedly killed in the strike. The strike on this facility was just one of 40 carried out in recent days on terror targets in Gaza, which has resulted in Hamas leadership calling for a cease-fire.
Almost 200 rockets and mortars were fired into Israel during a 24 hour period. Recent days have seen the heaviest fighting between Israel and Palestine since the 2014 Operation Protective Edge, in which Israel cracked down on Hamas terror tunnels and rocket attacks.
