IDF aircraft fired missiles at several SAA positions yesterday in the southern Syria near the Israeli occupied Golan Heights and Jordanian borders. According to Israeli media outlets, the situation escalated when, “…shortly after 3:15 p.m. an apparently unarmed Syrian drone entered Israeli airspace from Syria through the demilitarized zone between the two countries, after first passing over Jordan. Some 16 minutes later, a Patriot anti-aircraft missile was fired at the UAV, shooting it down over the Sea of Galilee,”

That evening, Israeli aircraft struck at least three SAA military positions in the southern countryside near the tri-border region, destroying them with missiles and promptly releasing the footage.
