Members of an Iraqi militia group discover an IED on the road and make an attempt to disarm the device. They do not succeed.
An aircraft on station about 40 miles northwest of Baghdad spots a group of friendly Iraqi militia members attempting to disarm an IED. The groups bravery quickly becomes their demise, as their inexperience in bomb disposal is recorded.
As the tape continues to roll, the aircrew can be heard over the radio. They pass up what they just witnessed to higher, and contact the friendly team on the ground to check their status. After determining that the coalition troops on the ground have no casualties, the team on the ground starts to send up their report of the incident.
