Iraq’s Peshmerga Special Forces, called Dizha Tiror (anti terror group), is a heavily-armed, sufficiently-equipped light infantry unit that is the most elite indigenous fighting force in the region. The anti terror group has the trust and military backing of the U.S., and was responsible for the raid on the ISIS prison in which 70 prisoners were freed, and more recently, was the group responsible for rescuing a teenaged Swedish girl from ISIS captivity inside Mosul. Look for these badasses to be stomping out key insurgent leaders during the newly launched Mosul liberation operation.
