Members of the Turkish Military sit inside what appears to be a T-155 self propelled howitzer, based on the K9 Thunder, and shell Al-Bab militants.

A group of Turkish military members shell Al-Bab militants. This video was taken inside of what appears to be a T-155 Fırtına self propelled howitzer. The vehicle itself was designed based off the South Korean K9 Thunder. It shares the same design of 155/52 caliber gun system and automatic ammunition feeding mechanism of the K9, and uses a German engineered MTU-881 KA 500 diesel engine.

While similar to the K9 it does have a lot of serious differences, primarily in the turret design, parts of the chassis, the navigation system, and electronic systems. What’s interesting about this video, is that it was taken primarily from the interior of the vehicle itself.

>Note: This video is being posted in order to showcase the howitzer itself, not the Turkish military.
