The Helmet Camera footage from the raid that captured El Chapo shows Mexican Marines storming the building Chapo was hiding in.
Thursday night’s raid to capture the Mexican drug lord El Chapo, put Mexican Marines against one dozen of El Chapo’s bodyguards in close quarters combat. The Mexican Marines moved in with speed, surprise, and violence of action to capture drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman.
Below is the unedited, raw helmet cam footage of Operation Black Swan.
Strong work from the Mexican Marines in this video. There is a lot of things they can improve on in the future, but it’s very clear that they weren’t entirely sure what they were walking in to. With that said, even though we don’t see El Chapo himself on camera, this operation was a success.
Shortly after this footage stops rolling, Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was captured on the highway trying to flee authorities. It is believed that his body guards stayed behind to fight the Marines in order to give him the time he needed to escape.
