The tunnel bomb has made a comeback in Syria. The following video shows the result of a subterranean blast emplaced and detonated by a jihadist group known as the Dawn of the Caliphate Brigades. Although the blast is impressive, an astounding event occurs in which a projectile fired from an improvised spigot mortar, commonly referred to as the “Hell Cannon,” can be seen whizzing within close proximity to the drone, and its flight is recorded all the way until impact. We are living in some wild times. Within a a few seconds of a single video, you can observe the ancient “mining” tunnel bomb technique, an explosive warhead fabricated by hand from a propane tank, and it is all being recorded be a unmanned aerial vehicle.
