Here’s a pretty hardcore tribute video to the First Battle of Fallujah. The video starts out slow, but as the music builds, so does the intensity and editing of the footage. Definitely worth watching.
The First Battle of Fallujah, also known as Operation Vigilant Resolve, occurred in April 2004, and began as a result of the murder of four Blackwater USA private military contractors, as well as the combat deaths of five U.S. troops in nearby Habbaniyah just days prior. Marines, Army paratroopers, as well as U.S. cavalry were sent in to “pacify” the city. The U.S. suffered 27 servicemen killed in action, while more than 200 insurgents were killed in the fighting.
