It appears as if the regime soldiers still have not learned their lesson about the rebel ATGMs. Wire-guided anti-tank missiles have become the new Stinger missile launcher. At every position, around every corner, and in every gun fight, these wire-guided missiles are making their power on the battlefield known. It’s the TOW effect.
On one of the many static front-line positions in Syria, regime soldiers are manning their posts. While they stare out across what is surely a no-mans-land, an ATGM is launched. The gunner manning the 23mm cannon, mounted on the back of a Toyota pickup truck, had absolutely no idea what was about to happen to him.
