During an all out assault on the northern side of Aleppo, a terrorist ATGM team makes a terribly awesome mistake. Without taking into consideration the location of friendly forces, they blindly fire a missile at a cluster of troops. Not knowing what they are about to do, they cheer as the missile slams into the group.
Following this, they then publish the video online claiming that the troops were regime soldiers in retreat. The Terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra however later stated that the group had killed one of their top leaders. Umar Al-Daghestani, who was one of the most prominent leaders in the group, was one of four individuals killed in this strike.
Blue on blue usually isn’t a good thing, but in this case I’ll chalk it up to a win.
