French Troops Dominating Terrorists In Mali

first published on November 20, 2015 by

Operation Serval was a French military campaign that cleared Islamic militants like AQIM out of northern Mali. The operation lasted approximately a year and a half, from January 2013 until July 2014. The campaign was deemed a French victory, and the campaign was renamed Operation Barkhane and moved to the Sahel region of Africa.

After the shift in operations that crushed the terror cells, the Islamic militants were able to return to the Malian cities and begin targeting unarmed innocent people as is evidence by today’s terror attacks in Mali’s capital city of Bamako. Pathetic cowards.
