A gnarly video from Afghanistan in 2012 shows a wounded Georgian soldier being evacuated by a US Army dustoff team while being treated for a serious gunshot wound to his neck, shoulder area.

The US medic is seen packing the wound with gauze to control the bleeding, while the Georgian soldier takes it like a champ.

Unfortunately, the soldier in the video, Corporal Ramaz Davitaia, died three years later due to prolonged complications associated with his injury.

Georgia was the largest non-NATO contributor to ISAF and had 32 soldiers killed in Afghanistan, with an additional 435 wounded.
