An intense video shows Syrian Rebels under heavy, accurate fire from government forces. As they try to treat casualties, confusion overcomes them.
Syrian Rebel ground forces get a first hand experience in accurate suppression. As they frantically try to maneuver around their position, rounds and fragmentation can be seen bouncing off of everything.
The suppression slows their ability to even get to their own casualties, and from this point of view it appears as if they are not even willing to fight back. Instead, they opt to hold their position and try to wait for the onslaught to end.
In a regular conflict, this video would finish in a completely different manner and it would be posted by the attacking force after they finished dominating the position.
However, in Syria, advances rarely happen as neither side really knows how to capitalize on accurate and effective suppression. If the guys that had been conducting the fire had been thinking clearly, and actually attacked their enemy they would have easily overwhelmed them.
