Sentries Sent Airborne After Massive TOW Missile Explosion

first published on June 30, 2016 by

Members of the FSA use a TOW missile to strike a sentry position. When the missile explodes, it sends both sentries flying through the air.

Just another boring, uneventful day on post, right? Not exactly. These two sentries are minding their own business, guarding their position, when all of a sudden they both learn about spontaneous combustion.

Before they even know what is happening, a missile that is flying faster than the speed of sound slams into their position. Both men are right on the outside of the explosion, and it sends them both tumbling through the air at a high rate of speed.

It’s safe to say that even if they somehow survived the explosion, and the fall, they both probably died shortly afterwards.
