“Chaos” Battling in Ghazni with 82nd Airborne

“Chaos” Company of 1st Battalion 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division battles it out with Taliban forces across Ghazni province in this music-laden combat footage video. The video is somewhat lengthy at around 15 minutes, but actually gives you a more realistic sense of the sustained fighting in some of these engagements.

This footage is from 2014 in which the American withdrawal was in full swing. As combat outposts and forward operating bases were closed down across Ghazni it created a logistical and security nightmare. Chaos Company was there to find and destroy the Taliban, thereby keeping the enemy’s heat from the vulnerable drawdown operations.

These dudes found themselves in daily gunfights and straight mobbed on the enemy. It just goes to show that grunts can win you every battle, but politicians will still find a way to lose the war. To read more about Chaos Company and their unique deployment click >>>HERE<<<
