A car full of Turkish journalists, covering the Russo-Georgian War, comes under intense automatic small arms fire as they approach a checkpoint manned by skittish troops in 2008.
One of the vehicles occupants was struck in the eye, while another was shot in the shoulder. Yet, miraculously, none of them suffered life-threatening injuries. The gunfire went on for minutes, repeatedly peppering the car and even disabling the engine. The journalists repeatedly yell, “PRESS!!!” and wave their shirts out the window. Eventually, the troops who are either out of ammo, or are sick of embarrassing themselves with their poor marksmanship, approach the vehicle and round up the passengers.
