Canadian, Australian, and British Forces: Allies In Afghanistan

This one goes out to my brothers from another motherland. Without you guys, the suck would’ve been a whole lot suckier.

Since 2002, Canada had 159 troops killed as a result of OEF. British forces lost 454 since 2001, and the Australians lost 41. Giving “killed in action” numbers doesn’t actually do a whole lot to represent all of our actual sacrifices, battles lost, and battles won, but those KIA numbers are more to us. They represent the pain, blood, tears, sweat, and above all else… the memories, great or terrible, that will forever be burned in our minds ’til our dying days.
