A video released by the Syrian government shows a brutal Russian and Syrian air campaign against the Turkish Army and their jihadist proxies in the proximity of Nayrab in Idlib province.
The footage shows mainly Russian strikes against Turkish tanks and armored personnel carriers, as well as artillery units and various proxy force vehicles. Although the strikes do not appear to have the precision of American weaponry, they are clearly effective.
The Turkish military has now lost 16 troops in the last month of operations against Assad regime ground forces and Russian aerial support in Idlib. Turkish President Erdogan is scheduled to meet with the leaders of Russia, France, and Germany on March 5 to discuss a possible deescalation of hostilities in the region.

Assad is pursuing an absolute horrendous crackdown against rebel-held areas by means of indiscriminate destruction. The operations have led to a mass exodus of refugees that are pouring over the Turkish border.
This gives Turkey the justification to intervene militarily, and they have, sending thousands of troops across the border. However, they’re openly arming, equipping, and leading terror groups like Hyatt Tahrir ash Sham, al Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria.
