A British SAS operator has reportedly been filmed rescuing endangered civilians from an embattled hotel during a deadly terror attack in Nairobi, Kenya on Jan. 15, 2019.

Video and images of the soldier surfaced during live coverage of the chaos. The operator was first thought to be a US Navy SEAL because of a unit patch worn on the trooper’s gear. However, later reports out of the UK are identifying him as an SAS operator.

Multiple videos show the special forces soldier repeatedly running back into hostile fire to rescue innocent civilians from the terror attack. The attackers have been identified as belonging to the Islamist al Shabaab terror group.

Fourteen people were reportedly killed in the attack. One of the deceased has been identified as Luke Potter, a British programs director for an international charity organization.
