11th Marine Regiment Removes Entire Grid Square From Planet Earth

Marines from the 11th Marine Regiment conduct a regiment wide fire-mission to support troops on the ground in Baghdad back in April of 2013.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would look like when an entire Marine artillery regiment conducts a single fire mission, we have a video for you to watch. In April of 2003 the 11th Marines were on the ground conducting fire support for infantry operations outside of Baghdad. The video you are about to watch is what it looks like when an entire regiment aims their cannons in one direction, and decides to remove an entire grid square from the planet. It is safe to say that whatever unit called in this fire mission got the support they were looking for. It is also safe to assume that whoever was in the vicinity of the impacts of this fire mission stopped being a problem shortly after these rounds hit home.
