Video recorded to the frantic tapping sound of a Ukrainian drone pilot shows the shoot down of a commercial drone by a Russian Soldier using his issued service rifle.

I've been saying this since the mid-2010's when drones first started to appear on the battlefield. The solution to the drone threat in the sky will come from the individual infantryman and his ability to quickly acquire targets and get first round impacts. While this Russian clearly could have just gotten lucky, he made a decision to engage the drone with his rifle, and it saved his life.
